Going to see the Albatross Colony and the penguins?

A winding road hugs the rocky Otago Harbour shoreline.
You'll nose in and out of a number of cosy bays, and then on the north side of Portobello Bay, prepare to swing hard right up a short slope to the cosy
"Bus-stop backpackers".

Just 30 minutes from the buzz of Dunedin city, you have escaped
to a rural waterside paradise, a far cry from a packed smelly-socks dorm.

Just down the road from the home of the giant Albatross at Otago Heads,
it's a homely little spot where you can choose to stay in either of our 2 rooms
which sleep up to 5 people.
And if you're lucky, you can ask Phil about staying in the "Vintage Bus"
or the "Classic Caravan".

Or you can make use of our brand new "Seaside Cottage" which sleeps two people.
